Jerboa113
that has a 110 bolt pattern instead of 114.. or is it too early for me to remember this correctly? or was it 04s that had 110 and then in 05 they went 114? aw screw it.. make sure you get the right bolt pattern! johndas
Best way is the Tire rack www.tirerack.com search and plug in 2004 Imprezza STI and go from there...! In general for Brembo fitment you need a minimum of a +50 offset...that will get you started.

johndas
yip...seeing as you have to match your wheels and offset they will have to be the same! J
johnnymack
I had to buy an 18x8.5 Rota with a +48 offset to clear my Brembos.
Gire
iON is selling a great set of brakes on this site that fit under stock 17" wheels, and even 16" wheels. They are purdy, too! Check out their thread in the vendor's area.

Jerboa113
only cos manufacturing in the us was driven away by organized labor. I mean you're competing with china FFS. does this ion upgrade actually upgrade anything though? I mean the stock LGT I'm pretty sure doesnt come with brakes at all.. just a pedal that closes the throttle body so that you feel like you're slowing down..so the assemblies that LOOK like brakes on the wheels dont seem to respond all that well to pads and rotors as a result. Waxiboy
Will not fit! Incorrect! Mine fit with tons of clearance http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x6/Lukipooh/IMG_4080.jpg
johndas
Incorrect! Mine fit with tons of clearance http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x6/Lukipooh/IMG_4080.jpg ...and the fronts...you running different wheels on the front? If one wants a full set of Brembo's one would need to use the same wheels on the front and back...therefore it's a moot point! That is what I was saying! johnnymack
Incorrect! Mine fit with tons of clearance http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x6/Lukipooh/IMG_4080.jpg What?! I was told MULTIPLE times that the stock SpecB wheels WOULD NOT clear Brembos. WTF? Pics of the whole car please? I can't see how the front stock wheels would clear the front Brembos. No spacers? No nothing? If just the rears work, whats the point?
Waxiboy
I was just messin' with you guys hence the "" after my post. I swapped my rear Brembo first because it was 1) harder to do and 2) had ship back the OEM e-brake shoes to Onkel to get my core refund. Took this pic when I was selling the wheels..... ....because the fronts wouldn't work----happy now?
Jerboa113
so you drove around with REALLY good rear brakes and stockers on the front? I bet that felt weird. johndas
Got that part... I could just see the $hit storm coming as so many have asked this ? over the years and invested in new wheels based on member advice...thus the above related post! They look terrific, and I'm sure perform very well. BTW- we have no way to compete with the labor rates of China. Anything designed and built in the USA or Canada means it's being done the most expensive way possible.
