You feel,,,,,as per buying her.

Mine was a 2006 SpecB......sitting in a showroom,,,,,selling @ $27,900.00

Went there for maintenance on my forester, and wound up buying it.I picked it up the following day and noticed someone put on an additional 105 miles as compared to the day before.

Wish I had your mechanical skills because I'll need a new exhaust system soon.Any recommendations for an 06 ?

Car looks,,,,supreme.

That's an awesome story! Sounds like we both lucked out big time!

As far as exhaust recommendations I prefer a quieter, deeper, not so crackly sound so I am and always have been a huge fan of Borla. The Cobb (or Stromung) TBE was a more complete set than the Borla (I like keeping things the same if possible). If I were to do it again, I would have a catless DP and 3" back to the rear y-pipe 2.5" to a couple of Borla cans with quad tips. I think Invidia has a pretty complete package like that though :)

I'd say check out YouTube and listen for yourself just to play it safe though.

The only thing that detracted from the pics was the human in the frame. Save that for your facebook.

Already there! Normally I don't but I felt like sharing the frustration and the fun I've had building this car. Thank you though :)

Welcome back to KS! :)

Thank you, wish it was on better circumstances but it is what it is... Look forward to seeing everyone again though :)

Congrats on your 4 year anniversary! Subscribed.

Very nice! Stealthy. Oh and the monkey is a good addition too lol

Thanks!

Hows that new turbo treating you?

The Tomioka isn't too shabby. I'd like more power but the TD-05 20G is about as big as you can go with a stock motor. Anything bigger doesn't spool and my motor starts losing power :/

The end of 2011 I got a couple little things to bling her up a little; some stainless steel hood struts, STi plate ring, and I decided to get another Legacy badge and put it back on the trunk lid. I also picked up some JDM window visors :)

2012 absolutely did not start a great year for the Leggy... A kid decided to reverse and try to drive through me at a stop light that he stopped short of by two car lengths. Ruled a no fault due to lack of clear evidence caused me to pay my deductible but the results were great after it was all said and done!

Since the front end was completely trashed, the JDM STi front end I had sitting in boxes for over three years finally had a chance to go on, as well as a window lip spoiler :)

The painter ended up painting the front lip spoiler without my say but after seeing it painted, it looked like it should have been to begin with so needless to say, I was happy! We had to do a fair amount of trimming on the bumper for FMIC clearance and cleaning up the air flow. I also had some custom SS FMIC piping fashioned and even more trimming on the bumper and the fog lamp shrouds. I ended up with five stitches when the utility knife I was using slipped and almost cut my thumb off... That was one heck of a birthday present LOL!

After waiting over a month on insurance and then the other little parts, I took a few pics of it the day I picked it up and had some fun driving it! After a trip back to Kansas I had a buddy of mine help me do a little photo shoot and one made it into the calendar :)

For the time being, paying stuff off and working are my priorities so saving for a clutch and motor/turbo build is a little ways off yet...

Got a neat little addition on the way. Look forward to getting it on and taking some pics next weekend or soon after!

When I first saw this thread I was like, "Perfect, seems like there is nothing else he can add to make it better "

And now you bought this next upgrade and I'm like "Wow, he actually did it! He found something to make it more sexy!"

Love the front end! I think I still have the exact same bumper (but in SWP) sitting in a storage unit for the past 4+ years. I never got around to ordering a 2009 spec.B, so it's still in there... somewhere.

What was required for the bumper installation? Were the JDM headlights/fenders required?

Everything but the hood and hood latch LOL!

Guess it's time for you to find an SWP (SUPER RARE) 09 spec B then man ;)

Here is mine!http://i1065.photobucket.com/albums/u395/Frontman81/2012-11-18_15-26-49_54.jpg

The fenders are definitely required (I have a used edm pair if anyone is interested)... I ordered mine from Israel as jdm and edm are the same. Also, shipping is dirt cheap compared to Japan. My headlights are Aussie with the washer units.

The USDM under cover can be slightly modified to fit. Jdm beam is not required but highly recommended. I had to modify headlight wiring as well. My lip is the zero sports.

There's a lower diffuser shown in white that is specific to the jdm specb:

Also, fender liners:

The silver fenders I have for sale:

Hell yea! Nice man! I was able to use the USDM fender liners and got the JDM under tray. I originally had the HID headlamp housings with the washer sprayers but didn't feel like dropping the extra cash getting all the pumps, wires, levelers, and control units for all of it. If I ever get back into a financial position of dropping the dough again I would consider getting them or sending mine out to have the projectors retro'd for USDM lighting with my HID kit.

Very nice looking ride man! If you weren't so far away I'd say lets meet up for a photo op!

PS: If you ever go FMIC you gotta ditch the buck tooth LOL
