Hi everyone!

Hope this is the right topic to ask:

I have Subaru Legacy, 07 - 215/45/R17, the first question is what is the best colour of wheels? I wanted to get black but they don't look very good on the black car...

Can you advice something? Thanks in advance.

Any popular wheel color works well with black, be it black, matte black, charcoal/gunmetal/dark gray, silver, polished/chrome, hyperblack/black chrome, bronze, gold.... I think you get the idea.

That may not have been the answer you were looking for, but hopefully it opens up some options.

Thanks for the reply.

I tried many wheels but I couldn't find what is good because in fact it's very difficult to find something very nice for the black car.

What's about just white wheels? I will try to post some of the variants today.

WORK XT-7 18x8.5 +46mm MGS w/ Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec 245/45-18 on an '05 OBXT lowered 1.5" on Megan Racing Outback Specific Coilovers. No rolling required. Probably won't fit stock setup due to larger front suspension diameter. My vBGarage.

The Ridiculousness is no more :( But you can have your very own piece of it. **The Ridiculous Part Out.** :D

Apologize if this was answered, but are there any 16" rims that will fit an 05 LGT? I'd love to put steel rims on for the winter (to save $$). Seems like this was asked but I couldn't find an answer. The guy at Kal Tire said they would fit, but I'm worried about brake clearance... Anybody tried this? Thanks a lot!!

Anyone know if the BBS RC's off a VW GLI would fit an '08 LGT? I have a buddy that would give them to me if they fit.

^^^Offset is et35 on the BBS RC's for a 18x7 wheel. Skinny wheel + low offset = dumb looking IMO. But there is only one way to find out. Just do a simple test fit. I would say that it would probably fit. Be just like adding a 20mm spacer to your stockers.

Question about my rims that just arrived..

They are 18x7.5 @ 42mm offset and stock Spec B is 18x7 @ 52 offset.

According to 1010tires wheel offset calc, that means the wheel sticks out 16mm towards the fender and 4 mm towards the strut.

The tires I have chosen are 235/40/18. Does that Mean the New tire (being 20 mm wider than stock of 215/45/18) will stick 14 mm closer to the strut, and 26 mm closer to the fender?

Is that correct? Will a 26mm increase to the fender cause rubbing? Its only 2.6cm wider.

edit: Tire diameter is only 0.9% shorter, sidewall is only 3mm less (wheeeee). rimsntires.com says that the package sticks out 20mm father towards the fender. Doesn't is stick out 26mm because the extra tire width (235-215=20mm) is half on each side of the rim, plus the additional protrusion of the rim due to 42 offset?

the rim is pushed 16mm to fender, and ive gone 10mm wider tire on each side of rim, so isnt it 26mm?

In any case, the site says it wont contact the wheel well, but may contact the fender lip.

Ideas ?

I currently have the Axis Decades with the rears in the maxis lip system. Staggered look but the wheels are the same size all around; 18x8, et35.

I have just ordered new rims to replace these.
