JayInVA
Very nice setup! Curious on how you slammed Leggys are rolling with or without rubbing. Did you reshape or remove your fender liners and did you have to roll or pull in the front? My OB has a beefier tire 245/45 on a 19x9" wheel and is rubbing mid liner up front if I hit bumps in a turn. Just wondering how you guys got moar low. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/06/05/7ygunuve.jpg http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/06/05/pu6apa4u.jpg I really dislike this generation of Outback, but yours is making me reconsider. That thing is pretty bad ass.

Brent C
Is that a 2014 grill or and 11-12 grill? Damn that thing looks amazing! Edited August 8, 2014 by Brent C
Gen5is
That is awesome. SOA definitely screwed up by not releasing a wagon version.
Manik1770
Man that's putting in the work. I think he needed to do the door panels as well since the cladding is clipped right through the door. Super impressed!

Redslaya
Its amazing. My first thought is it was imported, so when he got out I said "How the hell did you get this into the country?" but it turns out hes just a really cool dedicated guy who loves a good wagon
MRLancaster
This is what I dreamed of doing. I wouldn't have a sedan if we got the wagons here. I miss having a wagon but didn't want to take apart another Outback, especially one that costs as much as the 5th gens.
Gen5is
So he probably got; Legacy GT hood US SPEC Legacy bumper US SPEC Legacy grille US SPEC Legacy Front quarter panel? Looks like the cladding is on the front panel as well on an Outback Legacy wagon doors JAP SPEC Legacy wagon side skirt JAP SPEC Legacy wagon bumper JAP SPEC Some sort of after market tailgate wing. Looks like K2gear or DAMD And the obvious suspension mods to lower it. Would installing the Sedan wheels on an Outback put off the speedometer reading since they're completely different in size? Brent C
You think he replaced all the doors and both front quarter panels? Or do you think he just had the holes filled and repainted? Also, wouldn't the regular US spec Legacy side skirts fit or no?? I was wondering about the tire size too? Either he just deals with the speedometer and odometer being off, or I wonder if there is someway to recalibrate them? Manik1770
yeah I would bet his speedo is off almost -7% if he went from OB to legacy tires. He probably just lives with the speed difference. I've got beefy tires on 19"s on the OB and I'm very close to orig. diameter. I really can't stop looking at the post - removing the cladding was also one of my future (way future) projects Edited August 9, 2014 by Manik1770

The doors are stock. he filled and painted the holes in them. Side skirt is Us spec, right off a legacy. I dont know the specifics about the spoiler, but he said it was from japan, made to order. As for suspension hes on coilovers, has legacy control arms, and i think he mentioned something else, but i cant remember
Gen5is
Ah, looks like US and JAP share the same side skirts. Probably some roll center adjusters and maybe lower rear control arms? I thought he may have replaced the doors because i thought the cladding would have had an indentation where the cladding would stick on to, I guess not lol

I thought he may have replaced the doors because i thought the cladding would have had an indentation where the cladding would stick on to, I guess not lol Here is pic of one of the Outback doors with no cladding. http://www.subaruoutback.org/forums/attachments/gen-4-2010-2014/100649d1409055267-removing-plastic-panels-bottom-doors-outback-door.png I was thinking of doing something like this, but instead of filling and painting, get a thick plastic trim to cover the holes and paint that to match the car. Or could trow some decals on it to mask the trim kinda like the GTk.
