Here's my specB as she stood in the garage today with the new summer setup.

(sorry for the crappy cellphone pics)

^Cobb springs on my stock Bilstein struts. A baseball bat and a heatgun took care of most rubbing issues I had in the rear, but I still get a bit while taking hard turns and hitting decent dips in the turn. I have some 1/4" spacers I may put in the rear to hopefully take care of any rubbing issues. I also have Cobb front and rear sway bars.

And FWIW, the tires are Falken Azenis RT615K's. So far, they grip like velcro (and pick up all the small debris on the road) when the roads are dry or wet.

I used the same stage 2 cobb suspension kit (coils over stock struts) and had no rubbing issues in the rear. In fact IIRC it lowers the car 1.75" front, 1.5" rear. I used cobb front/rear sways and perrin end links all around (cobb was out of stock for the links). Looks good!

Some people report a fitment issue. I never saw it on mine. I've heard others complain of a metallic knocking noise over bumps from the hat on the metal coil from the fitment being off. Maybe certain gen springs might have been sized different?

I had the exact same setup on my car and even with 1/4" spacers, the wheel wells rolled and pulled i still rubbed. I had 18x8 Rays wheels with 245-40-18 tires and I had to take them off. They werent good on my 08 spec.B as a daily driver. I have Cobb rear sway, Cusco front strut bar and rear lateral links on my car. My wheel wells still cut the crap out of the tires with a wicked negative camber.

I sold the Rays wheels and tires and now have 04 STI BBS wheels 225/45/17's which I am very happy with.

Just the spec B with inverted Bilsteins. I'm still piecing together the info, but most people recommend a JDM spring. Good to see 2 people without issue. Give me hope.

I have Cobbs and they are nice but I hear they dont make them anymore not 100% sure though.

This is how my car sits now on Cobbs with 1/4" butt spacers 3 finger gap all the way around its perfect for me

Knock on wood i've never had any issues I personally wouldnt have put the tints on so dark but they came with the car when I got it. I was told they are 20% and I always have my sunroof open to try and let more light in the car. If I do see a cop I try to roll down one or two windows but thankfully i have not gotten in trouble for them. It also depends on what part of CT you are in and how you drive IMO
