Nichomas
I was looking at swapping some heated mirror from a SUS onto my GT. I was wonder what this exactly entails. I have found lots of guides on installing the JDM folding mirrors, but no just heated mirrors.

johnegg
you will need the mirrors, the switch wich is on the adjustment control and probably a harness from each door and maybe one for the switch. if heated mirrors was an option for your car when new, some of the wiring maybe there already. my 97 GT had the switch wiring connectors for heated seats under the center console and the pigtails for each seat under the carpet of each seat. i don't think the heated mirror wiring is as complete but i'm not sure. i have had my door apart a bunch of times but i do not remember extra wiring. of course i was not looking for it either. Scruffy
I just had my 98's door apart and there was only a plug for the factory tweeters.
Regardie
On the 2nd gen, the heated mirrors will need a wire pulled to the door. The dash mounted mirror control switch from a car with heated mirrors is also needed if going for a stock looking install. I started the process but never finished it on my 97L. The wire you need for the replacement switch is in the instrument harness. I never determined if it was in the body harness. The door cards definitely don't have the wire. I have all the bits that I think you would need, mirrors, wires, and the switch if you are interested. I would even throw in the manual pages that I was working with for the install.
