Synapse Synchronic BOV Installed

Hey guys I just installed the Synapse BOV after hearing good things about it mainly about eliminating Comp. surge.

 

Heres some info on the valve.

A&B Connect to vacuum I used a T-connector bought from Auto Zone.

So far I have It at fully recirculated and it sounds nice:cool:. Louder than stock but not bad. I might try the vent feature as well to see if i like it.

The anti stall kit prevents suction through the valve while not under boost. Usually for people with a non MAF (Mass airflow sensor) car's the valve sucks air through it but enough to screw up the air-fuel ratio based off the MAF. You have to block of the suction to make sure the MAF is reading the accurate air amount passing.

 

Yes our car's have MAF's and we need the anti stall kit. It's briefly explained in the first video at the very end.

I just installed my synchronic EWG. I'm waiting to for my 20g to break in before I can see what it does. I'm glad you like yours BOV. I read all the Synapse info and it sounded like really good products. Here is my setup.

i seen a video of them installin on a 08 wrx with a stock intercooler. isnt the bov flange the same as all the turbo subarus?

 

 

08 stock intercooler and all the LGT intercooler flangers are in fact the same. Except for engines equipped with Sti engines, the Sti intercooler has a different flange. But im going to take a wild guess and say that the reason it doesnt fit is becuase of its size, and the availability of space under the hood. But thats just my guess. My Make-shit FMIC barly allows for the stock BPV. Its very very close. Thats just my 2cents.
