Zanatech Posted September 24, 2009 Share Posted September 24, 2009 would this repair be covered under the drivetrain/powertrain warranty? i had the car in the shop to have wheel bearings replaced under warranty then they mentioned the rear pinion seal was leaking. (also they mentioned the debri guards from the front are missing (i just bought new ones from them like 3 days ago, just haven't had time to install them anyone know where to get the clips cheaper than the 4-6 a piece from teh dealer?)). Just have to drive my lightning until this gets resolved or i have the money to pay for it. 18 for the part 200 for labor. so... 250 or so total? that seem fair? If an axle seal is leaking and it is a covered part, I don't see why a pinion seal wouldn't.
