Pinion Seal?

would this repair be covered under the drivetrain/powertrain warranty?

i had the car in the shop to have wheel bearings replaced under warranty then they mentioned the rear pinion seal was leaking.

(also they mentioned the debri guards from the front are missing (i just bought new ones from them like 3 days ago, just haven't had time to install them anyone know where to get the clips cheaper than the 4-6 a piece from teh dealer?)).

Just have to drive my lightning until this gets resolved or i have the money to pay for it.

18 for the part 200 for labor. so... 250 or so total? that seem fair?

I am not at work at the moment(military reserves) so I can't double check warranty wizard. If an axle seal is leaking and it is a covered part, I don't see why a pinion seal wouldn't.

Ok, I am back at work now and checked for you. The pinion seal is covered under the 5/60k powertrain warranty.

Sure thing.

It should be a fairly easy repair. I replaced one in my Z/28 and they are pretty straight forward.
