Teece's Legacy Wagon

I have a 2002 Legacy L wagon that I picked up for a steal. It has 143k miles. The previous owner had the head gaskets, timing belt, and the water pump replaced. The vehicle was very well kept and I am a happy new owner. I don't have any pictures other than what was given to me via the Craigslist ad.

Quick background. I'm a senior in college, I run a small side business called Equipped Motorworks (facebook.com/getequippedclt OR weebly.equippedmotorworks.com), I've been in the Subaru family for a little over 6 years now and I love everything about them. I previously owned a 2000 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS sedan. She was my first Subaru love and she will certainly be missed. Luckily I sold her to another Subaru enthusiast, so she will be treated well, if not, better!

On to the pictures I previously spoke of.

So my plan for the Legacy is a whole lot of function. I was able to keep my 16x7" Subaru wheels, 02 WRX front seats, I have a Yakima roof rack that I'll be getting the proper attachments to transfer it from my sedan to the wagon roof rails, Subaru all-weather floor mats, and a ScangaugeII that'll be going right in the car. As well as some fresh black 28% tint this Friday.

Many Subaru upgrades will go into the car before I start tinkering with the car itself. I'd love some JDM parts, like red/clear tail lights, the JDM grills are nice and subtle, as well as other things like fog lamps, a trunk tray and other tasteful modifications to make my new (to me) wagon what the girlfriend our puppy and I would like to see this Subaru go.

So stay tuned and comment with whatever you want, I just ask that if you don't like something and you plan to put me down, just don't comment and move on. I don't appreciate negativity, constructive criticism is one thing but "flaming" people because you're not a fan of their style doesn't fly with me.

Cheers,

teece

These are the 2002 Subaru WRX front seats going into the 2002 Legacy (pic taken while they were in my Impreza). I will post up plenty of pictures once I get the wheels and such on, and my tint is done. It may not be until after the first of the year though. I will be traveling to Boston with my girlfriend to spend the holidays with her family and won't be back until January 2nd.

So I'm starting to realize how few 00-03 Legacy's out there are modified. Despite this, I am destined to make mine one of a kind! Just wait Legacy owners, I'm gonna put the 3rd Gen Legacy on the map and for those of you who have modified them, please reach out to me and send me some help!

For anyone curious, this is my old Subaru Impreza:

She ran well all the way through 200k miles and with the new owner she is still running strong! I bought her at 70k miles and I put 130k miles in 6 years! I added a good amount of JDM & Genuine Subaru parts on her. She started out Silverthorn Metallic, and recently I Plastidipped the whole car in flat black. I take my time when working with cars, that way they come out exactly how I want them.

Do something right the first time, you won't have to do it again.

Well I took delivery on the car on Thursday (December 19, 2013). The following Friday I had 28% tint installed:

Then I installed my RS 5-spokes, 16x7" on 205/55 tires, pretty factory. I prefer stylish wheels over steel wheels.

Same day I also installed my ScangaugeII, tucked the wires, installed my white LED interior bulbs and installed my 2002 WRX seats:

I plan to install the Outback front bumper, side skirts, and the wood grain interior trim from the Outback. I also plan to delete the rear windshield, along with JDM tail lights, and spoiler. Some sort of custom quad/dual exhaust. Subaru trunk tray, and a series of other tasteful modifications. Stay tuned everyone. I'm taking this Legacy BH6 to great heights!
