citka
Forgive me if this has been covered. A quick search didn't return anything related to what I'm looking for. Is it possible (with open source software) to disable the TPMS? For instance, say wheels are installed without the sensors. The idiot light goes into convulsions. I'd like to be able to tell the computer to mind its own business and stop buggin me cause I have an old school tire pressure gauge and know how to use it. BDII
I've heard of guys building a pressure chamber out of PVC pipe and filling it to the correct pressure. http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/technical-chat/1184-my-tpms-sensor-diy.html I'm sure someone will be right along to tell me how this won't work. http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u112/06tacomadouble/My%20Truck/TPMS%20Sensor%20DIY/IMG_2863.jpg Need forum help?
