lingling1337
Its lower profile than my old Duralast but it still wont fit past that plastic oil pan cover. Should I buy ramps and use those every time or try and return it to HF and get the aluminum racing jack? Opinions?
chutrain
Get some wood planks from the hardware store and cut at an angle. Should get you high enough to get the jack under there.
chrispyvu
use the jack that came with the car to get it high enough to fit your jack
OutbackXT05
Instead on that rapid pump i got the low pro jack for HF. Its lower and lifts hIgher for the same price but it cant lift quite as much. I think it lifts 2.25in to just over 20in.

OutbackXT05
I dont like the aluminum race jack for my garge. It doesnt feel all that sturdy like the heavier ones. They do work we have 2 at our shop we use for the nascar. I use the previous version of this one. Has never let me down and has gotten under everything so far. http://www.harborfreight.com/automotive-motorcycle/floor-jacks/25-ton-heavy-duty-floor-jack-with-rapid-pump-68049.html
scoobyscoodle
^I have the same one and love it. Aluminum jacks don't feel that sturdy to me either. That 2.5 ton is solid and very low profile for what it is. If you're lowered, drive onto a couple 2x4's first if you really need to.

OutbackXT05
Ya the aluminum jacks have their purpose pretty much for the track cuz they are light and easy to carry around.
