Perrin713
I recently installed a uppipe on my 05 GT. I replace the old uppipe gaskets with new ones but that was it. I know I should of done all the gaskets. However, upon start up and idle the inside of my car smells of exhaust fumes. Which gasket would you think was leaking? turbo to dp? KurtP
Could be any of them. Go back and replace all 3..manifold to up, up to turbo, and dp....
integroid
or put your car on ramps, take off the splash shied, start your engine and get underneath and listen. I have reused the turbo to DP gasket 3 times without replacing and without leaks.
Perrin713
Ya, I figure I will just replace them all anyhow. Also, the turbo sounds kinda rough for a few mins till the car heats up then its normal. I'm thinking its air leaking from a gasket till the gasket expands and somewhat seals the leak. Just thought maybe someone had the same problem and knew what gasket it was.
