garygbnj Posted August 29, 2014 Share Posted August 29, 2014 06 lgt-176k. Almost never use the cc. Turned it on the other day and the cruise light (dashboard) flashes and the cc would not function. Would not turn off. Turned off ignition, light went out. Turned ignition on started engine light still off. Turned cc on and same flashing happened. Turned cc off only by turning off ignition. f1anatic Posted August 29, 2014 Share Posted August 29, 2014 I just had this happen with the cruise control earlier this week - NO CEL though. There appears to be two sorts of happenings - the CC flash with or without CEL. There are some 2 dozen threads dedicated to this issue without a definite answer. It appears that it is at least partially related to the front Oxygen sensor but many other engine codes have been associated with it. I suggest you do a search one the site.
