meier motor sports
try a short spray of carb / choke cleaner in the intake and see if it trys to start. if it trys to start look for a fuel issue. if it still does not try to start, check the ignition system. brokentv
I want to second checking fuel pressure. I was having a crank but no start, I could get it to start but it took so long it got to the point where it was draining the battery just to get it started. It turned out to be the fuel pump. When you turn the key to on. Listen for the fuel pump priming. If you hear nothing your fuel pump might be the problem. I went to the junk yard and got the whole fuel sending unit and swapped it $40. Probably one of the easiest parts to replace on these cars. Just be careful not to tear the fuel line end when getting the hose off the fuel pump. Now sometimes my car will start before it even gets the chance to actually crank. Quicker than a brand new car.
