Well I have seen these on Japanparts and wanted one but then couldn't find it again. Loked on ebay and all and was sure it was discontinued. Which it was. Some how I stumbled onto JapanAuctionParts who was in colab with Tommy Kiara to do a limited run! How did I get so lucky. This limited run is also the only heavy baby that will come with different colored turtles. So excited and it is a "Heavy Baby" haha

Well, got a random package today that I had no clue what it was. Opened it up and inside was a BNIB Zerosports blue radiator shroud. I must have bought one many months ago, forgot as I was getting lots of parts at the time. Then, bought another one used. Aslo installed my Prodrive oil cap. Very nice piece and they are discountinued!

Hit up the closet dyno on Sunday at Emerald Coast Motorsports with the Emerald Coast Subaru Club for a little club meet. Had to drive just over 2 hours but it was a beautiful so didn't mind it. I had head the dyno read low so was expecting anything crazy and I have a crack in the header where it collects to up pipe.

Managed 255hp and 277tq. Only did 2 pulls since my 2nd pull was so close. I was running 19 and forgot I could switch to about 21 and I should have to see what the difference would have been. The consensus is this dyno reads about 20 low.

Fairly happy as I do have a conservative tune with stock tmic and injectors while only running 19. So I feel I have more if I really wanted. Graph looks pretty good, I'll post it up when I get a chance.

Temp was about 90*f inside so pretty hot.

So...ordered Tomei ULE headers, COBB V3 AP, and CNT downpipe. Went with Tomei due to the collector and fairly priced. Only thing I am unsure of is that there is no flex section like the Megan racing set I currently have. So we'll see if it cracks faster. I will be wrapping these right off the bat. Decide to go ahead and grab an AP as my tuner moved up north, unfortunate for me, good for him. This way it should be easier for him to tune and for me to go e85. I decided to go with the CNT due to the cast bellmouth portion. My Megan Racing DP cracked right at the mouth and I contribute that due to the weaker metal vs cast. It'll be covered with wrap anyway so it doesn't matter how pretty it is. I wanted to go with a Tomei DP but went with the smarter option. I also wanted to get a diverted dp like Invidia but did all the research I could and consensus is it didn't make much of a difference. Again for the price you can't beat the CNT.

Stayed tuned for pics!!!!

So I met you at the Mega meet in Tampa and was drooling over your car so much you made me break down and buy a genome grill. How rare are they?? I can't seem to find any info on it :/ btw I have the BSM wagon!!!

I guess they maybe somewhat rare. They main reason I believe you don't seem them is price, and they do look a bit funny. Kind of like a wild boar haha. But I think it looks aggressive and it's JDM yo so have to have it. I have the catalogs from the JDM Legacy STi with it installed. Those car also came with the Genome DNA wheels. Look those bad boys up, I want them so bad even though they are ugly as sin.

Go snag on the grill and I am hoping to be at the meet again next year. And thanks!! I appreciate it!

Another one of the STi Genome grilles for sale if anyone is interested.

http://page17.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/v456305626

I would think shipping wouldn't exceed $100 and would be closer to $60-$80, depending on the box that it isn't shipped in.

Also, here are the STi Genome wheels:

Some things that need to be posted. Got the Perrin pitch stop, good bang for your buck. Made a pretty good difference on my car. Had some issues going into gear and this helped bring back the joy of shifting. I should probably look into all new shifter bushings but this literally took all of 30 minutes.

So got the down pipe and headers wrapped.

Also going to start repainting the Spec B wheels, Subaru gold/bronze with the Grimmspeed rattle cans. Kept looking at aftermarket wheels so this will hold me off.

Well, every thing is done!!!!

Headers and downpipe wrapped in DEI Titanium

Valve covers done with half moons

Group-n motor mounts

Perrin turbo inlet

Samco BOV hose

Perrin shifter bushings and rear bushing

Also ordered/installed another new set of Stop Tech rotors hopefully for the last time. This makes 3 or rather 2 but 3 total sets. Used and turned with the First pair of Brembos. Started to get back shake on light brake pressure due to what I believe was 2 right calipers. Then Bought a new set of Stop Tech because I thought maybe it was just the used and turned rotors. Didn't work and bought another set of Brembos and changed out the correct side and installed correct caliper. Seem to help for a little bit but then came back.

So now I have the correct left and right Brembos installed with fairly new pads. BNIB installed front Stop Tech rotors. Will go and bed everything in and hopefully this resolves the issue, otherwise I am out of options. Calipers were TQ to 80 ft-lbs and NOT 114ft-lbs.

I'll be looking to probably get a final tune looking for that 320 awhp level and then THAT'S IT.... tune is running much better with no cracks in the exhaust now. Full 19-20 PSI (vs~15) and IDC is even down (74 vs 84) due to not having to work over time to compensate for lost power out the header cracks.

So, of course I can't just let the car be.

When I installed the Hella lights I punctured the condenser. So that is getting replaced along with new o-ring for the lines and of course a fresh charge.

Also, I am doing inner and outer tie rods, end links which were bad, ball joins and fr/rr bushings on the LCA. I'll be swapping in the Spec B LCA with the groupN bushings. Decided against the poly bushings. I have a little bit of shake still and seeing if this was maybe the problem in the fron end. I guess I just really like to mess with shit that aint broke.

AND, found the pass cv boot torn so ordering the boot kit and just doing that. UHHHHH, Subaru meet in Huston in 2 weekends. Lets see how this goes.

Boot kit-28397AG000 $31

STi GroupN LCA rear bushing- 20204ZR010

STi GroupN LCA front bushing- ST20204ZR000

Got all MOOG stuff, outer tie rod have zerk fitting, so that is cool.

Well, I made it out to Houston for the Gillman Subaru Big Event 8 and it was one of the best events I've been to in awhile. I was able to get everything done save for the alignment as their machine was having issues.

Also, the front bushing for the LCA I was not able to get pressed out as the dealership did not have the right tools but the bushing looked fine just would have liked to change it out since I bought it. Boot swap went pretty well and highly recommended over buy a replacement axle if you can catch it quick enough. Ended up having to change out the ball joints and went with OEM.

We also had issue trying to get the rear aligned so I went and ordered the Whiteline rear lateral link kit and the Whiteline camber bushing kit for the upper lateral link.

AND I got the new Enkei TS10s. Very nice wheel and a redesign of the JDM STi Enkei wheels.
