"Nitrous Coating for pistons" ? what is that?

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that they mean a nitride coating of some sort on the pistons. (it's often done by folks who plan to run nitrous in their engine, as well as for turbo/supercharged applications, but I am thinking you aren't applying a nitrous oxide coating to the surface of the pistons, seeing as how it's not a solid at ambient conditions...)

I told JohnJohn to coat them. Just in terms of thermal properties i do long drives and with the long term look of things I figured it was worth it for the potential of more power down the road. Me personally I dont know the exact process so sorry I can't enlighten everyone

Subscribed - You've put a lot of work into this and I'm looking forward to seeing the future progression.

As a side commentary, from what I know (which isn't very much), the nitrous coating is is a ceramic coating that is used/recommended for supercharged, turbocharged, or nitrous applications. It helps disperse heat on the pistons to prevent hot spots and lower the piston temperatures so there is less chance of pre-detonation.
