Hi,

Consider this as a gauging interest thread

We are looking to make the FIVE:AD R5:F wheels in a new size, 18x8.5 with ET45-50 range and of course in 5x100

Weight: probably under ~25lb

Would you buy it?

If not, why not?

Here's how they look like in real life

Yeah, I do like the simple design, nice and clean.

Very little bling and concave is a plus for me. Will these be cast or forged ?

Very simple design

Matte color for the extra simplicity

They will be cast(hence the weight) to keep the cost down

Unfortunately, only the 10.5 width will come with concavity

suggested price?

MSRP should be around $265 each

Of course, I will do much better pricing!

I'm not suppose to post up my price online. Thus I can give you a quote via PM!

Almost exactly what I've been looking for. Definitely the right size. But I need new wheels like right now and don't think I'd be able to wait.

Weight wise, I think anything affordable in this size that isn't more than 1-2 pounds heavier than the stock 17s (21-23 lbs? I forget) is pretty good.

bored at work, did a chop of these on MY05

you suck at photoshop

xD

jk

I would get a set of the gunmetal if they were lighter... 18-19lbs

well the thing is, we gotta design these wheels for multiple car fitment, that means different offset and bolt pattern,

all that adds weight to the wheel :(

I think the lowest these wheels can go is probably 23-24lb, but that's just my ball park estimate

See the paragraph above.

And another thing is 18s will always be heavier than 17s, unless you're talking about cast vs forged.
