sachilles
I'll admit I didn't know what it was when I discovered it my engine bay. I won't say exactly where it was just yet as I don't want to make it too easy. I will say the part is generic enough that it is used on other subaru models. http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj91/sachilles/Legacy%20gt%202005/2012-04-04_09-09-06_546.jpg http://i270.photobucket.com/albums/jj91/sachilles/Legacy%20gt%202005/2012-04-04_09-09-19_68.jpg

sachilles
It is the cover for the flywheel inspection hole on the top of the bellhousing. Correct. I was just driving along, and the car makes a rattling noise, like something broke on the exhaust. Turns out is was hanging out on top of the flywheel, just rattling around. GTTuner
They harden up quite a bit so when you put one back in on a higher mileage car you might want to warm it up so the tabs don't break off. I tossed mine.
