Metal2You
Anybody know the name and/or part number of the part, circled in the photo, that allows the brake calipers to "float around" when the calipers squeeze the pads? I'm specifically interested the rears, but if you know the number for the fronts too that would be good. When messing with the pads to eliminate some noise I noticed my inner rear pad is not wearing evenly. A friend suggested to check and make sure this part is working properly. I'm just wondering how much they would cost to replace and where to get them. Note sure if I need them at this point, I have to take another look to see if they're working properly or not. http://i.imgur.com/XBlpD.jpg
BAC5.2
Slide pin. I don't know that you can get caliper parts, but you can get a replacement caliper from any auto-parts store. You can also pull the caliper OFF of the slide pin, and lube them. Metal2You
When I take my calipers off the slide pins stay in the brake pad housing bracket. Should I be able to just pull the slide pins out at that point and grease them up? EDIT : I forgot the most important part... Thank You!

BAC5.2
No problem. They should thread into the bracket, and be removable. If not, you should just be able to apply grease (brake caliper grease!) to them and reassemble. The most important thing is that they are clean. Liberal use of brake-cleaner is helpful.
