Wadoya think? The grille surround has only one coat of black paint on it and the grille is being held on with hot glue (temporary) to see if I like it black. I could paint it gold and leave the mesh black to have it "match" the body better, but I was thinking black might help even out the darkness of the wheels some and lend the look some balance. I will take some better pictures in the light today hopefully & post 'em up. I actually think I would like silver grill better. Black grill kindda makes the opening look too big for my taste. Maybe black grill with silver mesh... I kind of want to take the subaru emblem off the old grille and mount it to the center of this one, just to break up the space a bit (and keep your eye off the hood latch behind the grille). I been thinking about not going the bling route for the car for a while (wheels, lip grill) because I need to start saving some money. But I think I might have to get a mesh grilll just to get it out of my system. I love the mesh grill because it gives the car a very agressive look yet in a subtle way. He sells them without any badges. All the guys here either sourced STi badges, or added in Subaru Stars badges ripped off their stock grille, and/or added in GT badges taken off the back of their trunks. Or you can look for R-Rev, a vendor here to sell you carbon fiber grilles for a decent price. They sell them without badges too... you will have to get creative in putting you own on there.
