post flush disaster paranoia

well i've been paying a lot of attention to the way the car shifts, sounds and drives over the past few days. seems to shift fine, drives fine also. there are two noises i've heard though...

 

first noise sounds like a rattle, only happens at a certain rpm (~12-1500?). it does it in gear, as well as park and neutral. i believe that this probably is just a rattle, but could this be tranny/diff related?

 

second noise concerns me more. when i shift from one gear to the other, i can actually hear the transmission shifting. i move the gear selector and it makes it's noise. then i immediately hear the actual shifting of the gears. i've never heard it before, but i've never listened for it either...

You need to forget about it. If you did damage then it is already too late and the odds strongly favor there being no damage. Unless you plan on pulling the transmission and having it rebuilt you need to stop listening to the Demons

only thing to do now is beat the living heck out of the car and blow this trans so you can upgrade to an IPT tranny
