JinMA
The 2013 audio system in my 3.6R Limited with Nav allows for 5 custom EQ presets. The car comes with all 5 of them flat. My iTunes has 25 or so presets I could experiment with in my car but then I spotted this thread in the FT86club http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?p=403763 and thought it may be helpful to start one here.. cipher_nemo
If you're an audiophile, you're not really going to get enough out of that stock system to improve the sound much. Worse, if they're not manual knobs, tuning it for your ears for each new album you listen to isn't going to be fun. I always hate built-in EQ because they dangle it there as some "value-added" feature, but those who truly want to adjust different bands will be let down and look for after-market solutions. If you're not an audiophile, then you might not even care to get into the head unit EQ. Or you could use it to correct any serious flaws in sound reproduction. But my point is if you care as much about it as the avholic guy in that ft86club link, you're better off going with aftermarket solutions. Note that adjusting the EQ for one person may not sound good to the next person. Same with adjusting it for one recording (album) may not sound good for another recording.
