JER5EY
Another thread had indicated to remove the shifter boot in order to lift the center trim piece. By doing so, I broke my trim (LOL - he said "trim"). Look at the pix of how it is assembled, and you'll see why it was such a beeatch... I highly recommend trying this first: The center console/shifterboot trim plate can be removed by carefully prying it up from the back (p-brake) side. Note the locations of the two back clips in the last photo. Take care not to scratch anything. Use a plastic putty knife, or at least wrap your screwdriver with a rag. The whole panel is clipped in (and under the AC unit). You can then remove the side trim screws and unclip same. Etc. Etc. Etc.... PS - The wiring, plugs and colors for my 2006 all match what is out there for 2005s...
JER5EY
And here's more photos of how to run power from the battery, down the fender, and into that AMAZING little grommet up behind the fusebox near the firewall. Be patient with this, and snake it. Tape your end or have no hook or loop in it until you get it through - this is in case you need to pull back & try again. I went from the grommet to the hood (of course). I also through in a picture of the Driver's "B" pillar, with arrows indicating how you slide it ON TO the body clips.
