Help using the OP2.0 cable with 2005 LGT

Hi everyone,

Like most using the vag-com cable, I'm sick of the cable draping over my steering column and always having to take care of my laptop while driving/logging.

 

I recently purchased a OP2.0 cable but now I am having trouble getting the logcfg.txt file done.

 

I was reading up on here and RomRaiders and saw there was a tool to create it,

but it doesn't seem to show the A2WC510N ECU.

 

Anyone with an 2005 LGT willing to share that file so I can get an idea how it's done?

obviously the OP of that post was running a 2006 LGT and has a different ECUID which was available on the website i listed...

 

If my ECU id showed up in that GUI i probably didn't need to ask did I?

A guy in that thread is using that ECU ID. Maybe try his code with the corrections suggested by others. Either way, no reason to start a whole new thread. Just trying to give you an idea of where to start...

Go to the OP20 config web site, and start typing your ID into the box in the top left, where it says "--select--".

 

It should really say "--type--" instead of "--select--" in the first place.
