EssTeeAai
Installed HID's into my fog lights today. Thought I'd share. Please excuse the bad quality photography, the pics were taken with my cell phone. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v702/ACCORDing2R/Legacy/edit2.jpg Driver's side done. Passenger side still stock. Comparison photo. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v702/ACCORDing2R/Legacy/edit1.jpg Both sides done. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v702/ACCORDing2R/Legacy/edit3.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v702/ACCORDing2R/Legacy/edit4.jpg My WRX VS. my LGT To answer some questions in advance ; - The low-beam kits are 4300K. The fog-light kits are 3000K. - I'm not really sure what brand these kits are, but I believe they're called ApexCone. - I'm not sure why my LGT fog lamps are so much more yellow than my WRX, but I assume it's because the LGT has projector fog-lights, and the WRX has regular reflector housing. The HID kits are exactly the same. - No that's not my actual licence plate, I edited the pics with MsPaint, and inserted "WRX" instead of just blanking it out. Yayo
Looks good. The DDMTuning ones I went with are a dull yellow and I'm still looking for better bulbs, wonder if this is the way to go?
Drift Motion
are you using the fogs as DRLs?
EssTeeAai
are you using the fogs as DRLs? I have my DRL's disabled. And the fog lights are wired so you can turn them on without having to turn on the headlights.

I understand your concern. To my knowledge; HID's use a lot of voltage when they first "fire up"/ignite, but considerably less voltage when they're on, compared to standard halogen bulbs. So it's best to make sure your car is on with the motor running before turning on your lights, to minimize strain on your battery. Also, I make sure I ignite my fogs or low-beams one after the other, not all 4 at the same time. And then once all 4 HID bulbs are on, you're fine. Drift Motion
yeah, hence why i said turns on at the same time like if i forgot to turn off my headlight the night before, and the next time when I start my car... since my fogs are DRLs but HIDs with 3000k in them is much better than my shitty yellow halogen bulbs
