N.sane
I found a set of Borbet Exor wheels locally and they look pretty nice so I'm thinking of picking them up. The thing is they have a 57.1mm center bore vs. our 56.1mm. Is that gonna be a problem? I don't imagine they make 1mm hub centric rings, right? Any advice is appreciated
clarkwgriswold
Yes it will be ok.
Drift Motion
u can run them without hub ring... Even with the standard 73.1mm you can run the wheels without hub rings Just have a set of tapered lug nuts that can properly center the wheels
N.sane
Do tapered lug nuts, like the McGard Splinedrive, work with OEM wheels? These wheels are actually OEM off a VW..
Drift Motion
look at what kind of holes are on the wheel, aftermarket wheels have a tapered hole for tapered lug nuts
ponchohome
I did a 1 mm difference on my '05 Civic (thankfully sold last week) and there was a vibration on the highway. It was better with tapered lugs but still there. These were also OEM rims from another company. After that experience I would never do it again. Drift Motion
u sure the wheels are round? Not bend or etc?
N.sane
Ill double check with the seller whether it's tapered or not. So if it's not tapered and I have to use the stock lugs then it's a no go?

abarnesDLGT
I have a pair of bmw rims I'm trying to mount and am shopping for adapters , (5x100 to 5x120) the bore on the adapters is 57.1 just making sure it will fit and won't have vibration
