a few extra questions about my lift

heres my car in all its glory, still muddin, 2 tracking, and driving at 237xxx miles

now i have done quite a bit of research on the subject and just need a little extra help

now for the questions

this is roughly what im going to make http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=102243 and since i have access to steel shops near me and i am a welder i feel like it shouldn't be a crazy hard job

now for my questions

whats the easiest way to lengthin my steering shaft since i hear thats the main problem when doing this

and i pressume when i do my tranny and diff drop i shouldnt need a longer drive shaft?

if you have other suggestion let me know

i do already have 215/60/15's and forester struts (which didnt do a whole lot kinda depressing actually)
