Purchased them used. They came off an 08 Sti and made them fit on my legacy. Nothing too major to modify.

Retail 5500$ I paid 1600$ with 3k miles on them :D

more pics will get uploaded this weekend as the motor goes back in. and hopefully ill be able to take pics of the progress along the way.

motor is going in at my house, then im towing it to my buddies house for the intercooler piping fab, custom power steering reservior, coolant overflow, fuel system setup, ect.

hope to have this running in the next few weeks, then off to break in the motor on the dyno and tune same day.

That's a ridiculous price on those AST's, jealous. What did you have to modify to get the 08+Sti ones to fit? I've heard the only thing is the lower bushing on the rears.

.

What rates are you running/did they come with?

Fronts I had to elongate the 2 bottom strut mount holes and put washers between the spindle and coilover mount. The Sti bolt mounting holes are farther apart, hence having to elongate the holes. And the spindle on the Sti is wider hence the washers with lgt/wrx hubs.

The rear bushings were swapped for different width bushings, also they are 12mm Id bushings on 08 Sti+ lgt is 14mm id

And strut tops are different on 05-09 lgt compared to 08+ wrx/Sti and brz/frs

Front Spring rates are 8" hyperco 500lb springs sith eibach helper.

Rear springs are 8" hyperco 550lb no helper but sit too high In the rear if I leave preload on the spring at full droop.

I'm switching to a 7" with vorshlag helper spring In the rear to help lower the rear a bit and keep tension on the main spring at full droop

What are you using for rear axles?

Stock legacy spec b axles.

Badass car already!

Thanks!

Stock legacy spec b axles.

I'm currently in the process of having stronger rear specB axles made.

Would you be interested in a set? No point in having all that power when you can't get it all to the ground without breaking a stock axle.

had to relocated the abs module. there wasnt enough room to get a non restrictive intake in there.

would have had to do a 4" to 3" reducer and be a 45 degree coupler which is even more restrictive. so we just moved it :)
