smushybrain
Has anyone seen these yet? http://www.mines-wave.com/english/products2006-eng/electronics/cpu/racing_shift/racing-shift.html The panel won't work on the USDM cars but they sell the harness seperately and I don't know if the connectors are different between the USDM and JDM cars or not but I don't see why they'd be different... Basically the harness reverses the auto. transmission manual mode shifter operation so that it behaves like a sequential shifter - back to upshift and forward to downshift. I think it's neat but it's probably not something I'd buy...
zmarko
Interesting. I wonder if they offer these for the Acura TL (my dad has one, and doesn't like the orientation of the +/- shifts).
zmarko
Wow, and the converter harness is only ~$31 USD (without the shift plate). Too bad they don't make one for the Acura. I'd get it for my dad as a birthday present.
Scotty
Just took a look at the vacation pix, seems like if you swap pin 5 and 9 on the B116 connector, you would achieve the same result.
rvlmtfnk
yes! i want this. when i first got the car, it seemed natural for me to push forward to shift down and pull back to shift up. but the car is the opposite....
