Jamie at Subiegal.com is interested in doing a custom dash pod for us, she needs a tester car (free pod for you) and at least 20 people to make this happen. Here is the email I got:

Sure I am interested J Great idea!

What I need tho is someone local to me with a GT

Willing to let us borrow their car as a donor…

Of course they’d get a free pod when they were ready.

My guy would want to make certain it was a perfect fit

Also… I’m not going to bother unless there’s a need for 20 or more.

No point in hand making these for 5 people.

You see these are hand made, hand constructed, fiberglass, solid – then painted

Really are nice pods. I have never ever had one returned.

Shout if you guys think you want to do this and I’ll get it going!

Here is a link of a pod installed in a WRX. These fit 60mm gauges

(Think Defi-BF!!)

So what we need is a test car in the area..I think Washington, I will have an exact location and 20 people.

Correct, a single gauge housing. Check out the links for some pics on a WRX, I think it looks pretty clean. She can do 52 or 60mm.

I really like the AVO pod but it's not out yet, so I'm going to try to get this deal going.

She didn't say price but the WRX pods sell for $60 +shipping.

Boost gauge shouldn't be too hard to install from what I have heard, I have never done it.

We need someone in the Seattle area to donate their car for measurements...you get a free pod if you can do that.

I've never dealt with her directly, however, she does appear quite responsive all over NASIOC...hmmm.....doesn't she sell a lot of stuff for subies?

I deleted my post immediately - I mixed up two people and deleted once I confirmed. Please edit my comments out of your post. :D

If there's enough interest I can probably do it. It will depend on how long they need the car for though.
