#488/500 06 Spec B Build Thread 50 Trim fury

Recommended Posts

Alright, Well as you can tell my post number is silly low. So I'm going to try and start posting more on lgt.com I have used the threads numerous times to search, yes SEARCH for the answers to get my car from being completely stock to what it is now. Thank you everyone for the great posts over the years.

Enough ass kissing,

Bought the car stock 5 years ago. 11k miles on it, $26k

I started to love what this Legacy could do, I put Tein S-Tech Springs to drop it just a little bit. I noticed that the S-Tech's were not doing the job....

The Rear end Sag was a little too much..

I tried an Auto-X event in East Lansing, MI

Bad Idea.. I saved some money up to finally get something that would be adjustable and stay under the 1k mark.

I started putting money away and saving up for parts. I didn't think that I would keep buying and buying new parts. Also, I was researching Legacygt.com to try and find the best parts/price and reviews were amazing..

I always think that it is everyone's personal preference to do what they wish to a car. To modify it, how you want it to be modified. I have been a subscriber to many tuner magazines and have seen many off the wall builds.. I had a lot to think about when doing this build.

I was looking for power, reliability, and obviously not to break my bank account.

I ended up going with these components..

Megan Racing Coilovers

3 inch dual tip top speed pro1 cat less cat back exhaust

3 in Megan racing cat less down pipe.

Perrin 2in big up pipe w/sensor delete

50 trim BNR Turbo

Perrin turbo inlet pipe

Cobb intake

Fast motorsports fmic

Tgv deletes - Busted Finger Motorsports

850 cc Deatchwerks Side Fed Injectors

Deatchwerks 65c fuel pump

Cobb 3 port boost solenoid

Infamous Tune 24.4lbs boost

These are some of the build pictures..

Started with a goal..

Started with the first things,

Intercooler off, Intake off..

Started to freak out when I noticed this, but after researching I felt better..

I have attached the front bumper and the front grill recently.. and it has been doing extremely well..

No Cel's.. no issues.. Eats about a qt of oil every oil change.. but other than that she is a fun car.. I haven't gotten it dyno tuned yet.. but I plan on getting an E-85 Tune soon and hopefully be able to see what this stock motor can handle.. I want to go for the record of fastest stock longblock Legacy GT, but maybe Ill shoot for that later in life. Right now, this will do for me.

Thanks everyone for this great website, and I just got my Legacygt.com stickers in the mail a few weeks ago.. Awesome.

Got any current pics of the front of your car? I'm interested in how your FMIC sits / looks.

Thanks.
