WRteXan Posted April 2, 2012 Share Posted April 2, 2012 I have a plethora of WRX style engine mounts, but none of the round, legacy style mounts. To save me a trip to the shop and/or the cost of new mounts, does anyone know if the WRX style mounts will work? I noticed someone on here selling Group-N mounts that looked like the WRX style. WRteXan Posted April 3, 2012 Author Share Posted April 3, 2012 When I pulled the engine, one of them came apart, the other one looks like its about to. They have 180k on them and the rubber is dry rotted. To clarify, the one came apart at the rubber structural piece, not the rubber surround or heat shield. I understand that the WRX mounts will bolt to the engine, heck, the engine going in it is from an '06 WRX. My concern is the 2 studs that go into the crossmember. I'm not sure if those are the same.
