lekmedm
Does anyone know anything on the subject of refinishing aluminum alloy wheels? I have a set that have quite a bit of corrosion on them that I've sanded off, but the areas where the original finish is healthy are just a nightmare to work on. Are there any solvents I can use, or am I stuck with sanding? Do I have to sand by hand, or is there some toy I can use to make life easier? Any help is appreciated including references to web sites that may contain such information.
Mongo
your better off finding a powder coater. they will strip and coat your wheels usually for a good price when done together.
LowFast
Media blast and then either paint or powdercoat. Each option has its +- so it is up to you as to which is best for your application.
