msb175
sammy, chinchilla's are mainly caged animals. a tad smaller than rabbits. we let her out every-so-often to run around and hold her. of course, she runs very fast, so just catching her again takes some work. because they are mainly caged, they do their business in the cage. very easy to clean and maintain. their #2 is small hard pellets. does not bite. tends to lightly nibble on fingers to check if your giving her a treat, but does not bite hard. to tell you the truth, i want to give her to a someone that i trust. not like craigslist or some random person off the street that will turn her into earmuffs. which is why i turned to the forums... they are EXTREMELY soft. my g/f wrote up a whole "owners manual" per say on how to take care of them, etc. sent you a pm... importtund
Hey now, that may be the perfect match for my male chinchilla, just what he's been looking for.. (lol) she's mine! I'm only kidding... They are kinda cool to have though I got mine from my sister two years ago and she has three females now, so.. Your female is very cute though, good luck with the sale. oh, and yes I must agree they are very fun to chase around the house trying to catch (lol)... J.R.
I've always wanted a chinchilla. Don't think that she'd get along too well with my cats though
