Leke
Hey everyone, I'm new to the forums and just picked up Black 2009 3.0R Premium Sedan w/ Ivory interior. I am looking to do a complete exterior conversion of the car, transforming it into S402 that I'm sure you all know! I have been in contact with JapanParts and I am currently trying to build a parts list. So far I know I need: 1) 3.0R Spec B Bumper Purchased, painted, waiting to install. 2) STi Front Under Spoiler http://www.avojdm.com/images/300_08bp_lipspoiler01.jpg Sourced, waiting for it to get to Canada. 3) STi Front Skirt Lip http://www.japanparts.com/images/ImageFromDB.php?base=1&no=616 4) STi BBS Rims http://blog.autoworld.com.my/wp-content/uploads/2008/05/subaru_legacy_s402_27.jpg 5) STi Trunk Spoiler http://www.japanparts.com/images/ImageFromDB.php?base=1&no=1569 6) STi Twin Tip Mufflers http://www.avojdm.com/images/300_08bp_rearmuffler01.jpg Purchased, installed. 7) S402 Front Fenders 8) JDM HID Headlights Purchased, waiting to install. Does anybody think I am missing anything else, exterior wise? I am able to track down vendors on all of these items except 1) and 7). I was informed that the JDM 2.5 Spec B bumper will not fit onto the 2009 3.0R as the 3.0R is a slightly wider vehicle. I did some research of my own and found that the 3.0R Spec Bs that are offered in Australia and the UK have track dimensions that are the same as my 09' 3.0R - this leads me to believe that this bumper will fit onto my car. Would anybody know where I could procure one of these bumpers? Through my discussions with JapanParts they might be able to get it, but I am not sure if we're talking about the same bumper. Through these discussions I was also informed that Subaru does not supply the S402's front fenders - these are widened by approximately an inch to accommodate the larger BBS wheel. Would any body be able to offer some advice as to where or how I could get these parts? I really don't want to half ass the conversion and would really love to have my car look exactly like the S402. Any information or comments that could be provided as to the best way to tackle such a project would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Leke

mrmako
The only way, short of having it fabricated (big $$$) is someone here who has an in with a salvage yard that gets these vehicles. Now, considering a S402 is over $50K, these guys don't generally wreck them.....
Black Dragon
the BBS STi wheels will not fit because it is 114 not 100 and it have more offset than yours I have a 2007 legacy 3.0R and I just installed the spec.B bumper and it was a direct fit cause we have the same JDM spec http://www.legacygt.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=91&pictureid=

Buru
Do a front hub conversion!!! to 114 the '08 sti front wheel bearings are supposed to be a direct bolt up! i am working on a rear hub conversion slowly LOL! If the S402 is 114 (which it does not look like that to me!) (i have the BBS RE's and the bolt patern looks the same) then they might have a special order rear hub that we could get to do a rear hub conversion!!! Japan Parts please chime in. thanks, M

Pricing is on our Site for these parts Best GW Japanparts.com * Since 1996 * I ment that if we got the S402 fenders, do we need to change the mud splash or not because the the S402 fenders are wider than the normal fenders. also I was asking about the S402 fenders price.
