1-3-2-4
I was just wondering the nut that's under the turbo that mounts to the uppipe how did you remove it? Does a short 14mm socket fit?
covertrussian
Ratcheting wrenches go a long way too. All of the bolts are 14mm. 05 LGT 16G 14psi 290whp/30mpg (SOLD) 12 OBP Stock 130whp/27mpg@87 Oct 00 G20t GT28r 10psi 250whp/36mpg 22 Ascent STOCK
1-3-2-4
Ratcheting wrenches go a long way too. All of the bolts are 14mm. Not much room to swing a wrench but on that topic how many nuts hold down the turbo to the up pipe?
JmP6889928
Unless someone replaced them with the Grimmspeed nuts, which in that case, are 15mm hex. Try the 14mm first and if it won't go on.....
JmP6889928
Three nuts hold the turbo to the down pipe. The other two are for support brackets that are attached to the head to hold the up pipe in place.
1-3-2-4
I'm pretty sure they are 14 mm as all the others are. . My flare wrench is a little too long I forgot how I last got to it when I needed to do the oil return. Hose

1-3-2-4
I got the turbo off but the issue I just ran into while moving things over to the new turbo is the coolant line screw ports are smaller did Subaru has two different size bolts that screwed into the turbo? it's stupid since this is really the only thing stopping me from going on. Leviman
Weird that you can't get to those nuts. The turbo bolts to the up pipe with three nuts, I accessed all with a short 14mm and a long extension.
1-3-2-4
I'm not talking about mounting I'm talking about the coolant banjo and the bolts that go in the turbo to hold the coolant line down

The focus is not the mounting hardware but the bolt it's self.. The stock coolant banjo fits it's the bolt that does not

kzr750r1
It's not just the bolt mon... You need the banjo to match. Get whoever you picked this turbo up from help you isolate what is needed. They may have a different coolant line kit available.
1-3-2-4
Why do you need the banjo to match? I already determined the thread size is m12x1.25 that fits the stock banjo line just fine
kzr750r1
Ok... Was under the impression the bolt size was smaller so you would need a smaller AN fitting to match.
