dr_sharp Posted June 16, 2012 Share Posted June 16, 2012 When I did front pads I remember there being some sort of shim or spacer that was between the oem pad and caliper. bluesuby Posted June 16, 2012 Share Posted June 16, 2012 I believe some replacement pads have the shim already mounted on the pad. I have used Akebono pads and that is the case.
