BAC5.2
I noticed this the other day. Headlights on, the radio gets fuzzy. Headlights off, radio is fine. Is the antenna in the wagons powered? I wonder if running a dedicated low-gauge wire would help improve reception? Any ideas? SVXdc
Yes -- there is an antenna booster amplifier, inside the hatch. My first thought is it could be a grounding issue. See if the bolts for the booster and the chassis ground wire for the rear defroster need tightening. If it's not that, check continuity on the antenna coax cable(s) and the remote turn-on wire for the booster (all the way between the radio and the booster). Search for the 2009 vacation pix. kostic
Did anyone figure out a fix for this? This guy http://www.hidplanet.com/forums/showthread.php?42762-Getting-rid-of-static-and-feedback-on-older-wiring-systems. tried using ferrite filters and had some decent results. I think I may try that on my car as they are pretty cheap.
