Vashthestampede
Going to check the car out this week, hopefully weds. Anything specific I should look for when I browse through the maintenance records? The car is just shy of 120k miles, but its a 1 owner car. Any advice is appreciated! Moderators BarManBean Posted November 29, 2011 Moderators Share Posted November 29, 2011 oil change intervals should be 3750 miles or less. do a leakdown / compression test for peace of mind. Look through the other "should I buy this car" threads too, valuable info. Moderators BarManBean Posted December 9, 2011 Moderators Share Posted December 9, 2011 make sure there's no evidence of soap ever being in the intercooler. if the car has ever been through an automatic carwash I wouldn't buy it. c-lo
look in the 100k + mileage thread and the whose in it for the long haul thread. I'm at 185k and other then some normal wear and tear items it's been a pretty reliable car. I change the oil ever 3k miles and do the regular maintenance. check the turbo and belts as the belts should've already been changed out. 258k miles - Stock engine/minor suspension upgrades/original shocks/rear struts replaced at 222k/4 passenger side wheel bearings/3 clutches/1 radiator/3 turbos

shutterbc
I wouldn't buy an LGT for winter because snow will get in the intercooler too.
