No prior working experience is necessary, they'll pair you with somebody who has done it before. Workers are provided lunch. If you come to work, please avoid the color red. Bring a chair, bug spray, sun block and clothes for all weather. A small cooler with snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. Appreciative drivers will be more than happy to give you a beer after the hill has closed for the day. If you wish to drive, you need an SA 2005 helmet or newer. No M rated helmets. FIA helmets are OK. You also need a ABC fire extinguisher mounted with an all metal bracket within reach of the driver seat. Long sleeve clothing is required. (caged cars have more requirements). Roll cage not required. Lack of cage makes you subject to the break out time, which means you can't beat that time or your car will not be allowed to compete again until a cage is added. The break out time is still damn fast. Rookies should show up for friday evening to get oriented with the hill. If you'd like to work show up on either day around 7:15, and ask the first person you see where worker registration is. Plan to be on site until 5pm.
