JBird
I searched but could not find. Does anyone know what the min and max rolling diameter is for an 05 gt? i know stock is 24.6 but how much over/under can i go without screwing anything up. E-Tank
Anything different will effect your speedo and odo, but that's it as far as I know. I've seen dubs on an LGT before.
rtbrjason
This tool will give you pretty much all the info on what changes based on different tire/wheel size. http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html
JBird
ok because my buddy who is a mechanic says his beemer is only allowed a 0.4 inch difference before it really starts f-ing with everything. i would be going 0.8 bigger. 215 to 235. hes not at wokr to be able to look the stuff up today so we figured we could get an answer faster on here. thanks for your help if anyone else has some imput it would be appreciated
BAC5.2
Do you have an automatic transmission? In an AT, too much difference is going to notably change the way the transmission behaves (since it bases some of its decisions on wheel speed). If you have an MT, then I would imagine that only VDC would be grossly affected. Just choose the aspect ratio that keeps the tires closer to stock. ouch1011
As long as they are all the same size, I don't think you could choose a size that fits and would cause any noticable difference other than an incorrect speedo.
