lordchilly
I was parked next to a dodge ram. I was inside the braintree gun club when the dodge started to back up and I guess he cut his wheel to early and damaged my driver side rear panel, bumper and tailight. Im looking for a good autobody in quincy or near here. Any help is appreciated.

snow05gtRI
meh... they're gonna recommend you to whoever will do the job the cheapest for them, most likely. did the guy leave you his info? if his insurance is paying for it, you might as well find a shop that will do the best work for whatever cost....you're not paying... fzanetti
+1. Do your homework first, i was going to recommend you a nice shop but it's north of town in Medford. Do not "ask" your insurance to recommend you a shop, find one and "tell" them you will take your car there... Way too many poor quality body shops out there man... Maacko of repairs? MadMontie1
Generally, a good insurance company wants a good quality shop to refer to so we don't have to worry about quality issues. Since a DRP (direct repair program) shop is guaranteed by the insurance company, if you have issues with your repair, it become the insurance company's problem as well as the shop's, which they do not want So I would often recommend an insurance company's refferal as you can generally be safe with that. Especially if you are not familar with shops in the area. With that being said, there are also plenty of shops that are not part of an insurance company's DRP simply due to outside reasons such as availbility, locaiton, cylce time (ability to handle volume), insurance coverage requirements, technology, etc, which do excellent work and are more than capable of handling your repairs. It's all up to you. -Montie (an insurance adjustor who owns a Subaru and is extremely picky)
LegacyMUN2k6
Might as well get a brand new rear bumper, instead of repairing and repainting the damage on the old one. Maybe do a 08-09 rear bumper conversion.
drifterx
dont need to go where the insurance company "wants" you to go, i used to be an agent-trust me I got this shop in Willimington and its worth the drive up there. i live in quincy too...
