swagon2.5
Does anyone on here have any experience with SJR lift kits? I'm considering ordering one for my 99 lgt and just want some opinions and ideas from other people that have experience with them.
Riehl
Hey, I got a 2" one from them. I got the front in, just need camber bolts to bring it back to usual. The front was easy. I've have nothing but trouble with the rear though... After trying an trying, I just couldn't get it in. So now I'm running front up 2" and rear normal....... I'm gonna grab a set of Cusco adjustable lateral links and try again this spring. I'd recommend them though, the guy is good to work with, good service. Let me know how it goes for you
swagon2.5
what kind of trouble did you run into with it? Also i'm thinking of getting the 6" lift
I Donated broknindarkagain Posted February 22, 2013 I Donated Share Posted February 22, 2013 When you lift, the rear tires get pulled towards the front. The solution is a longer trailing arm, or an adjustable one. -broknindarkagain My Current Project - Click Here COME AND TAKE IT "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." swagon2.5
oh yes i knew about that problem, with the shorter lifts i've heard of guys getting the trailing arm mounts from foresters to help center the wheel again, the 6"lift comes with new drop down brackets

I Donated broknindarkagain Posted February 25, 2013 I Donated Share Posted February 25, 2013 Why do you need a lift kit? Throw some bigger tires on and have some fun! -broknindarkagain My Current Project - Click Here COME AND TAKE IT "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."
