BigBlack-V
i think i recall reading somwhere no i dont think its possible. Well anything is possible but i think you would have to change out way much more than its worth. I was 0. And I'm still a zero.
jasejase
i guess you could, but you would have to swap a LOT of other parts besides the tranny
Max Capacity
That's a correct assumption. You may want to shot Dave Brady a eamil at sales@EnhancedStreetPerformance.com he's one of the first to swap a mt into a 5eat car. I'm sure he'd have more resaons why you wouldn't want to do that with a H6. But like Jay said, anything is possible with enough money. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it. BigBlack-V
easiest and prob cheapest way to go about this IMO would be to sell your current car and just buy a specB I was 0. And I'm still a zero.

Berzerklo
Like everyone said, possible but very expensive/difficult. Based on my research its not just the transmission, it is also a new wiring harness & ECU. The Subaru wiring harness is one giant piece, so you basically have to re-wire your entire car. I would look into beefing up your auto tranny and call it a day.
