Legdude
Let me start out by saying she may not be the prettiest, or the fastest, or even the best truck on the road. But, it’s my god damn truck and I want it back. Last Thursday night I had my truck parked outside 24 hour fitness in down town Kirkland Washington, I went inside and worked out for about 45 minutes, I walked out in the parking lot around 10:30 PM and found that my Tacoma was stolen. I had all my work gear in the tool box and a few other things here and there in the truck as well. This truck has been a life saver to me and now that it is gone I really miss the versatility that it offered. I have filed a police report and everything through insurance. I am offering a reward to whoever can help me find the truck again and get it back. The truck has a lot of sentimental value to me and anyone who has had a car stolen from them knows how infuriating this can be. Thanks again and god bless. My email is trailratedoverrated@yahoo.com Again I’m offering a reward to anyone who can help me get my truck back. The truck is flat black, 1986, with a husky tool box over the bed, has the doors on it, it’s a 4 cly turbo 5 speed edition. Here are a few pictures of my truck that was stolen on 8/13 http://i28.tinypic.com/2wr0l6x.jpg http://i26.tinypic.com/317dx6q.jpg http://i28.tinypic.com/28ku1xy.jpg http://i31.tinypic.com/2qsuu5z.jpg

Platinum_Racing
If I find it can I have it? Just kidding, too bad about the truck. I wish I was closer so I could chase the thief down and stomp him out.
John M
Look for it abandoned on the local trails when the joyrider gets it stuck and bails. Look for its components advertised for sale online since they may try to part it out. Post it on any 4x4 and Toyota boards you can think of. Platinum_Racing
Check Craigslist too. It'd be hard to sell it without the title, but someone might be stupid enough to try selling it as-is as an offroad only vehicle, no paperwork. Someone might also post pics of the truck and advertise that they're parting it out. Whoever took it will probably do as John posted above, and wheel it till it got stuck then ditch it, or they might realize that they could make money off the parts... Like those American Racing wheels and oversize tires.

teK--
Hey Legdude I've been checking this thread regularly since you put it up. I really hope you find your truck mate and that it's still in good condition. My gf's car was stolen twice in the space of 4 months (after the first time I put a kill switch in it and they found it, but it was otherwise returned immaculate condition). The second time after we got it back I fixed up the smashed ignition barrel + steering column trims, then installed a transponder based immobiliser and an extra flashing red LED. She also uses a steering wheel lock now. Touch wood, her ride has not had an attempt on it since.
