a vendor: IAG Performance in Maryland. Not looking to start a flame war, so if anyone has recent, objective, direct experience with them, I would appreciate it.

If you feel like what you have to say might be 'inflammatory', PM me instead?

Thanks in advance, and I'll apologize in advance for cross-posting on the 2010+ forum, as well.

Thanks,

I've heard good things, both from those on the forum and from a personal friend. They diagnosed a problem causing misfire for my friend as a stuck exhaust valve...saved him $1000s instead of replacing the whole block as another local shop wanted to do. The other shop also "offered" to take the old block off his hands for a low price since it was "no good". Suspect...

I have dealt with them a little (bought a longblock, had them fix a boost leak, bought an oil galley plug adapter). No major complaints, although they told me to come for the longblock at a certain time and it took them an extra 1.5 hours to get it out of the car it was coming from. Not a big deal, though. They seem good overall, but I can't speak about the quality of more complex work they do.
