nathanboutin
So back in september i got coilovers for my 02 LGT wagon and they rode beautiful with no problems untill i redid everything in my front suspension and when i say everything i mean everything (almost) after replacement i realized the axles make a binding and clicking noise only when taking long swooping turns or during hard corning, with very minimal at low speeds. it seems to be related to ride night because when i raised the car for winter the noises went away. Has anyone else with really now legacy’s or subaru’s had this problem? if so how should i go about resolving it, shorter axles to compensate for the suspension geometry change and how? ehsnils
It's probably because the joints are worn and now have new paths that they get to wear on. Just go back to stock height and accept it or replace all axles with new ones. Notice that it can put stress on the gearbox bearings if it continues.
