Well I really need a radar, I was thinking on a Valentine V1 but I don't want to spend $400. While I was at work I realized we had some very good competitors, and the discount was CRAZY. Right now im leaning towards the 9300i becasue of the reviews on the site. But do guys have any of these or recommended any below.

NICE discounts!!!! :D

Forget the Cobras.

Get either of the Escorts, you'll be plenty happy. At that price, the 9500i would be hard to pass up.

^ Pretty good choice. I've heard they work well.

I have also heard that there was a problem with the GPS system that would block out valid radars. I doubt you'll have this problem as - if I recall correctly - it was limited to the first batch of them. Either way, I think it's fixable through a firmware update :)

It's still *possible* for the 9500i to lock-out a valid police radar signal, provided that the signal falls into the "chunk/block," and is of close enough distance to the locked-out false. The two, combined, would be an extremely rare possibility.

This is where the following consideration comes into play. ->

The "risk scenarios" presented by the speed-detection countermeasures enthusiast CJR238 is a MUST read, and you should consider your risk potential before performing any lock-out:

There's currently no "fix" for this "fault" (I'm putting these in quotation marks as this isn't really a "fault/problem," per-se).

It's a possibility that simply exists, based on the constraints of current technology.
