BrownBoy
I'm considering getting Cusco underbraces front and back, along w/ Cusco swaybars. Would the underbraces be of any use for a daily driver w/ the occasional spirited drive, other tahn the blINg. Any input would be greatly appreciated. I AM aware of how they affect the ride, just wanted some personal opinions from those who have them, and if they would be worth spending the coin on putting on a daily driver that will most probably never see autoxing, but you never know...thanks guys! -NALegacy
sutter2k
I put the cusco brace on after front/rear whiteline sways. Steering seems more responsive. The bracing definitly tightened things up further. You will notice a difference, but not OMG!!!

Xenonk
it's to keep the rest of the chassis from flexing over the years and keep the alignment as true as possible. So really, the question is "how long are you keeping this car and how hard are you going to drive while owning the car?" Keefe

Beanboy
Also curious... Figure if I replace springs and struts/shocks, might as well toss the braces (front and rear) as well. -B http://www.standardshift.com

jim1969
how does it effect ride and NVH?
BrownBoy
umm...from everthing ive read, it'll tighten up the ride, and there will be some increase in NVH. I'll have driving impressions once they're on....
inthedeck
I will let you all know how it goes, once they are in this weekend. Having them installed this weekend...and I already put the f/r sways in myself. The F/R braces are being installed by a local mechanic...for 60 bucks...then, maybe I will get an alignment, and should be good to go. Later. It would be great for when I get around to getting mine put on...I haven't decided whether I'll attempt them myself or not...what tools are a MUST HAVE for this install?
