98-lgt Posted August 20, 2010 Share Posted August 20, 2010 I recently purchased a 98 Legacy GT and the previous owner took out the keyless entry. The module is sitting in the glove box. I do not have the remote. What all is required in hooking it up? I am not even sure where to start, as I do not know where the module goes. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I dont have the remote so it just sits there taunting me with its little red light. c_W_j Posted August 21, 2010 Share Posted August 21, 2010 you can actually get to the spot for the module without taking anything apart if you don't mind getting a mite acrobatic. I'll tear myself away from cartoons and take pic later. my question is why the module was taken out... used remotes are fairly common on eBay and can be reprogrammed for your car w/o taking to a dealer.
